Actually, I suffered a similar problem just a few weeks ago. Ever since I solved it, I’ve been doing weekly check-ups on my computer for viruses.

Lavasoft has a anti-spyware/malware program called “Ad-Aware.” The new anniversary edition download is here: http://lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_fr…

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware also works extremely nicely. Download that if you can.

Also, most Windows computers come with a free service called McAfee. There is a built in virus scan with the program. Use that to check for and get rid of viruses.
