Predicament basically by easily annoyed: How do I manually remove a virus on my computer?

I have Norton (WebrootAnitVirus with spyware) on my computer. It does a sweep once a week. When it detects potentially harmful file or whatever it gives me an option to quarantine the item. I have noticed that there is a certain “virus” that i need to manually remove but i am unsure how to do that. Please help!

You will need to find where the virus is located at, which is usually hard because viruses hide themselves.

Sure would have been nice if you had said which certain “virus” you have. There are literally thousands of them, and I’m not a mind reader!

look for it (the scans shows the address) then manually delete it (right click the infected file, select delete).

I’m with Johny, give more info so I can help. Try start > run > type mrt > hit enter > scan. And get rid of Norton and buy AVG Internet Security 8.. http://www.avg.com

Just use Malwarebytes and SuperAntispyware and save yourself the trouble.

Its the best Anti-Virus present.. Previously I use Kasperski when i scanned a computer it claims “No Virus Found” but a doubt that there’s a virus. then my friend shows me the Nod32, i tried it. uninstalled the kasperski then scanned my computer.. while scanning it scanned 17 virus worms and a lot of trojan even some backdooroblivions.. till then i trusted nod 32. try it out..

When I was little I remember getting a few injections, since having children they seem to get have to get vaccinations every 6 months until they’re 5.

I feel very strongly that most children don’t need to get all of these injections and decided that ‘Changing Worlds’ would be about the actual viruses and molecules we have to ‘fight’ against.
