I can’t remember where to look for it and i think it’s almost time to update it. Could somebody please tell me where it shows on my pc. Thank you!

Which antivirus software do you have?? Look in the system tray…. ( Next to the time ) You will surely get it… if it is due for an update it will surely pop up..!!!!! Or maybe there is automatic updating system in it…. Or maybe you have to try searching… ( windows key + F ) then type in “antivirus” or “internet security”.

You normally have a shortcut on your desktop, and most avs update automatically.
If it`s not on your desktop, type the name of it into the search box, when you find it right click and sent to desktop -create shortcut.

What Software Are You Using, and What System?
Windows 7 : Start, Type the name of your Anti-Virus in the “Search Programs And Files” and wait for a list of results then click it when you find it and it will come up.
Vista : Start, Type the name of your Anti-Virus in the “Search Programs” press enter, a list of results will come up then click it when you find it and it will come up.
Windows xp : Start, All Programs, Then Look For Your Anti-Virus name and click on it.

Ouch.
Yes, look in the Systray (down by the clock), but you might have to click the hidden arrow to see any hidden icons.
But really, you should have your anti-virus set to update it’s virus definations automatically. With hundreds of new virus’ and other malware created each and every day 24/7, many anti-virus vendors are now updating several times EVERY day! A new update once per day would be the bare minimum to provide decent security.
