It depends on which virus you are talking about. Firstly, no antibiotics work on virus because the antibiotics are used to destroy the cyst of a bacteria because virus virus makes no cyst of the same substance for killer t-cells to attack. Next, is virus such as the retro virus like HIV the medecines mostly kill the normal cells also. And every time the WBC make an anti bod for such a virus the virus changes its protein structure and mutates and goes slealth again. in the mean time the virus attacks the WBC production site in the bone marrow and reduces the WBC drastically and the person dies due to lack of protection for the infectious microbes in the air.
