All I did was go to My Computer>Local Disk>Program Files>Common Files>Uninstall>PAV (Personal AntiVirus).

And just put in the ‘system restore disk’ into the computer and follow the instructions to restore it

NOTE: save all your precious pictures or some on a disk or hard drive or something cause everything gets deleted!!!

BTW- the system restore disk should have come with the computer itself, in the box

I wouldn’t waste time with messing with system restore. I would download and install smitfraudfix for free and then reboot into safe mode to remove personal antivirus.

I got those 2 days ago I tried many different ‘free” downloads but actually what they are trying to do is FREE SCAM and make you pay to get rid of virus. I tried Malwarebytes.org after 5 hours fighting with freakin personal antivirus and worked well. (it was actually EASY) so just don’t try any expensive one. You can fix for free, really.
