What you have is rogue software and not a virus, but simply a pest. How did you get it, by simply going to sites where you do not belong, or downloading something that you should have not, or opening an email that you should have not and by not having a good anti-virus and spam-ware program installed on your computer. It sounds like you have a malware virus infection. You can try downloading something like Malwarebyte’s Anti Malware or SpyBot Search & Destroy. Each are powerful removal tools. If those don’t work, or you decide that you’d rather have a live person help you (which is better than any program), check out something like geekstogo.com, techsupportforum.com, or bleepingcomputer.com where they have real people who will use tools to help you scan and disinfect your machine. Each of the 3 sites are free, but there are others out there.
