Main issue made by Nottee brat: How to remove antivir soultion pro?
I opened this one website and got this malicious “antivirus” software ANTIVIR SOLUTION PRO which is actually a virus. Though I have webroot antivirus installed on my computer, it did not remove the virus. I am trying to remove antivir solution pro. Please help me get rid of this virus.
P.S. i got some instructions on www.2-spyware.com. It asks me to download remover for Antivir Solution Pro but I heard this website is not legit. Please help me asap. Thanks

just go to safe mode then remove it from the add n remove programmes, n also delete it form programme files in c drive, if its not allowing u to delete means just rename the file n then delete it

1. Restart your computer in SafeMode
- After Power-On the computer, just before Windows start, press F8
- From the selections, Select SafeMode
2. Remove Registry entries that the threat added. You MUST BACKUP YOUR REGISTRY FIRST.
- Click Start > Run
- Type in the field, regedit
- Navigate and look for the registry entries mentioned above and delete if necessary
3. Delete malicious files that the threat added:
- Base on the given location above, browse and delete the file
- If no location is given, click Start>Search> and search for the files.
- If cannot be deleted, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to access Task Manager, see if the file is running in the process. If it is, select the file and click End Process. Perform file delete again.
4. Scan computer with Antivirus Program
- Update antivirus program
- Scan computer and delete all detected threats.

2-spyware is okay and legit. But they usually give you instructions for removing it manually which means poking around in the registry (and only people who know what they are doing should be in the registry) and a link to an “automatic removal tool” which is Spyware Doctor. Spyware Doctor doesn’t remove anything unless you pay for it. They do give links to Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware, both of which are good, but Spyware Doctor is the one they mostly push.
There are other sites which start with 2 that are more of a concern than them such as 2-viruses which has a poor reputation.
I prefer to direct people to Bleeping Computer because they (along with other forums such as Major Geeks) like to give you instructions that don’t have you poking around in places like the registry. Bleeping Computer has guides which are specific to these rogue programs, which I see as a strength of their site. A strength for Major Geeks is their “catch-all” cleaning guide which uses various programs to remove all sorts of malware – very useful if you don’t know what you’re up against or there seems to be a few things needing removing.

If you can’t get to that site, the first steps are these:
1. Restart your computer in Safe Mode with Networking (not just Safe Mode). This is done by tapping F8 as the computer starts.
2. Log in using your usual login that you were using when Antivir Solution Pro got on there.
3. Once logged in, open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools (press Alt if you can’t see the menu bar and it should pop up) and then to Internet Options.
4. On the box that pops up, choose the Connections tab and then the LAN Settings button.
5. Untick everything on that box and then click OK and OK to close it.
