I bought the McAfee Anti Virus “card”, I went to the website, put my card number in and downloaded the thing that popped up but when I open the software to scan for virus’s it just loads and loads and doesn’t scan anything. Any hints on why it doesn’t complete the scan?

then you have wasted your time and money.
The virus is probably stopping it from running.
McAfee is a hefty program can your computer handle it ?
